Recreational Skippers Ticket

Our boat charters are a wonderful, memorable experience but if you'd rather drive yourself and your family up the river on your own power boat then you require a Recreational Skipper's Ticket (RST). In Western Australia it is the law that any person who wishes to operate a vessel with an engine of over 6hp requires a RST (this includes jet skis).

The RST is a fun, convenient course that gives you the essential information you need to operate a powered vessel safely. It is the first step toward boating bliss, and it gives you a freedom to enjoy the sea on your terms.

The course is a short course that most people complete in just one day! The course consists of a theory section and a practical section. Everything you need to know for successful completion of the RST is contained in the RST workbook which can be obtained for free from the Department for Planning and Infrastructure, or we can provide it for you.

The RST is a certificate of competency we are able to offer the course with a 99% success rate. We give you all the required training necessary to make you feel confident & most importantly safe while handling a vessel at sea. This means you can invest in the course with confidence.
